Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Every Friday the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in Immaculate Conception, Glencorrib & St. Joseph’s Shrule for adoration for personal needs, the needs of our parish and our world community. The times are:

  • Glencorrib: 6:00pm to 7:00pm
  • Shrule: 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

Eucharistic Ministers Rota 2016

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist help the clergy in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass & in bringing it to those who are homebound. If you are interested in this ministry, please contact the parish.

A newly formed ministry in the parish, its objective is plan, organize and coordinate pilgrimages and trips at parish and diocesan level to shrines and places of prayer such as Knock, Croagh Patrick, Lough Derg and Lourdes.

Any young person in the parish who has made their First Communion is welcome to join this ministry. Altar servers assist in various liturgical celebrations in the parish such as Sunday Mass, weddings & funerals.

Rosary Ministry

The Rosary is said after the celebration of Masses on Wednesday & broadcasted on radio:

  • Glencorrib 101.4fm
  • Shrule: TB

Everyone is welcome to join those leading the Rosary in the churches but in particular the homebound are invited to pray the Rosary. The Rosary is recited for personal & parish needs as well for Vocations.
